Email Throttling
Learn how to configure email throttling in Smartreach to improve cold email deliverability, maintain sender reputation, and avoid spam filters with human-like sending.
SmartReach sends emails one at a time just like a human would. Unlike bulk tools that fire off hundreds at once, our throttling ensures no two emails go out together. This human-like sending pattern helps avoid spam filters and keeps your sender reputation strong.
How Smartreach handles email throttling:
Smartreach automatically helps manage your sending limits based on:
- Your email provider's guidelines
- Warmup status of your inbox
- Daily sending limits defined under each email channel
By spacing out your emails (instead of sending all at once), Smartreach ensures higher inbox placement and a healthy sender reputation.
Configuring throttling settings:
- Go to Settings > Email Account > Select your email ID
- Click on “Email account” > "Email Settings" section
- Set your preferred number of emails per day (e.g., 20-30 for new inboxes, 50-60 for warmed-up ones)
- Smartreach will auto-distribute the sends through the day
Best practices for email throttling:
- Start slow (e.g., 20–30 emails/day) and gradually increase
- Use multiple email channels to scale safely
- Monitor open/reply/bounce rates regularly
