Integrating Google Sheets with SmartReach.io using Make.com

Overview

This guide walks you through the process of integrating Google Sheets with SmartReach.io using Make.com. By setting up this automation, any updates made to your Google Sheets will automatically reflect in SmartReach.io, saving time and eliminating manual data entry. Below are the steps that you can follow for successful integration of SmartReach and google sheets.

Step 1

Log in to Make.comand click on Create a New Scenario


Step 2

In the search bar, type Google Sheets as your first application and select it.

In the Google Sheets module, choose the Watch New Rows action.


Step 3

Under connections click on Add


Step 4

Click on Sign in with Google and connect your google sheets account


Step 5

Under Search Method, select Search by Path.

Enter the Sheet Name where your data is stored.

Under Table Contains Headers select Yes (Ensure your sheet has headers like First Name, Last Name, and Email).

Select the Rows you want to update in SmartReach.io.

Set the Limit (The maximum number of results to process in one execution cycle).

Click Save


Step 6

Add SmartReach.io Module

Click the + (Plus) button to add another module.


In the search bar, type SmartReach and select it from amongst the list of applications.

Step 7

Choose the option for Create or Update Prospect .

Configure SmartReach.io Module

Next to Connection, click on Add.

Open the SmartReach.io Dashboard.
Navigate to Team Settings
> Integrations > SmartReach API Key

Click on Get API Key > Generate New API Key > Confirm.

Enter your SmartReach.io API Key in make.com

Select the relevant Team.


Step 7

Map the fields:

Email Address → Email Address from Google Sheets

First Name → First Name from Google Sheets

Last Name → Last Name from Google Sheets

Map all the necessary fields and click Save.


Step 8

Run the Automation

Click Run Once to test the automation.


Check if the data from google sheets is now imported in the Prospect section for SmartReach.io. Now you can also make a small update in your Google Sheets file and Check SmartReach.io to confirm the updates have been reflected. If everything works as expected, schedule the scenario to run automatically. You can click on the green toggle button to set the intervals for the scenario to run.


Note While connecting any application , To verify if a particular module is running correctly you can right click on the module and click on Run this module only and check if the data bundles are being imported and if it runs without any known error.
