Change Sender Name

How to change Sender Name for my Office 365 email account ?

Follow these steps to update the "From Name" in Outlook and sync it with SmartReach.io. This process requires Global Administrator privileges in Office 365 and access to SmartReach.io settings.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Log in to Office 365 Admin Center:
  2. Navigate to the Office 365 Admin Center.
  3. Ensure you have "Global Administrator" privileges to make changes.

Update the Display Name:

  1. Click Active users in the Admin Center.
  2. Select your user name from the list.
  3. Click Manage Contact Information.
  4. Locate the Display name field and enter the new name.
  5. Save your changes.

Wait for Office 365 to Apply Changes:

  1. Allow up to one hour for Office 365 to process the update.

Sync the Updated Name in SmartReach.io:

  1. Log in to SmartReach.io.
  2. Go to Settings in the left sidebar.
  3. Click Email Accounts and select the email address you updated.
  4. Click Reconnect at the bottom of the page.

Verify that the new name appears in the Sender Name field.
