This guide provides a step-by-step process to seamlessly connect Clay with SmartReach, enabling efficient prospecting

  1. In Clay, click on Add Enrichment* for a new column and search for "http"
    Use the following settings:
    Request Method: POST
    Endpoint**: https://api.smartreach.io/api/v3/prospects
  2. Enter the Required Fields as needed
    Team ID:
Found under Settings > Integrations > Team API Key in SmartReach.
    Campaign ID:
Navigate to your Campaign, then go to Settings > Additional Settings.
    User-Level API Key:
Found under Settings > Integrations > Team API Key in SmartReach.

Enter a Valid Team API Key
Locate the Team API Key under Settings > Integrations > Team API Key in SmartReach

  1. You can specify a source for the data, but it is not mandatory. You can add "Clay" as source. Include the required HTTP headers for API integration in Clay to ensure accurate data mapping and synchronisation. Without proper headers, integration may fail.
  2. Adding Campaign-Level API
**In Clay, add the Campaign Level API from SmartReach to manage campaigns effectively. You can click on the campaign name > Settings > Additional settings to find the campaign level api key

  1. Map Columns
    Default Columns:
Map standard fields such as First Name, Last Name, Company, Email, etc., directly at the primary level.
    Custom Columns:
Define custom columns in both SmartReach and Clay.
Use the format demonstrated in the screenshot.
Example: For a custom column named "Response," ensure it is created in both SmartReach and Clay.
    Important:
Custom columns must be added in both platforms; otherwise, they will not update correctly.
